ECU Remapping is the process of changing the settings in your car’s Engine Control Unit (ECU). The ECU is effectively the brain of your engine, it’s job is to control and adjust things like Engine timings, Throttle responses, Fuel pressure, Boost pressure, Injector duration and timing to provide a mix of fuel economy, performance and emissions control.

The ECU gets signals form many sensor from your cars engine to achieve this including sensor such as TPS throttle position, Crank and Cam sensors, Boost pressure and Fuel pressure to name a few.

With Viezu Tuning, we will first read your car’s ECU to see what it’s settings are currently set to. Once we have the current settings of your car’s ECU, we can then proceed to apply various ECU parameter changes, such as:

• Fuel Pressure.

• Injector duration.

• Ignition Advance.

• Boost pressure.

ECU Remapping can improve both Power and Torque, improving fuel economy, providing better accelerator response and an overall smoother more enjoyable drive.

ECU Remapping can result in reduced fuel consumption. This is due to the provision of extra torque at the bottom range of your car’s revs. This means less throttle input is required to accelerate and maintain speed. After remapping, your car will be able to be driven in higher gears at lower speeds, reducing revs and therefore using less fuel.
